MUSE JOURNAL — COVER STORIES

The Architecture of Modern Elegance

Interview with: Yasemin Öğün, Founder & Creative Director of Muse For All

Location: Muse For All Akaretler Design House

Written by: Gülin Cosar — October 2025

In FW25, Yasemin Ogün explores structure, layering, and quiet strength. Each silhouette is rooted in refined craftsmanship and the tactile comfort of fabric—designed to make women feel both powerful and at ease.

Origins & Vision

Muse For All was born from Yasemin Öğün’s desire to create a wardrobe that makes women feel both powerful and graceful. From the very beginning, her dream was to establish a language of dressing that women could speak naturally—wherever they are in the world.

“FW25 is about finding strength in serenity and power in structure.”

Yasemin Öğün
Founder & Creative Director, Muse For All

The Language of FW25

The collection pays homage to the dual spirit of winter. Sculpted jackets and coats reflect architectural lines, while technical fabrics, fluid dresses, layered knits, and feminine tailoring soften the silhouette. Yasemin designed FW25 in rhythm with Istanbul: serene mornings by the Bosphorus, fast-paced afternoons in the city, and evenings of timeless eleganc

INTERVIEW

Getting to Know Yasemin Öğün

MFA: What does FW25 represent for you?

Yasemin: FW25 marks a period of stillness and depth for me — a quiet search for strength within the fast rhythm of the fashion world. This collection is less about being seen, and more about being. The texture of the fabrics, the purity of the forms, and that calm sense of grace — they all represent an inner silence.

MFA: Where did the initial inspiration for FW25 come from?

Yasemin: This time, my inspiration came from women’s armor — that delicate line between appearing strong and feeling vulnerable. Textures that protect yet liberate, the balance between masculine structure and soft touch. That was the starting point: creating a space where strength feels quiet but unmistakable.

MFA: How do you want women to feel when they wear this collection?

Yasemin: At ease, centered, certain. A woman who doesn’t compete with what she wears but feels more herself within it. That calm confidence of saying, “This reflects me.”

MFA: You often emphasize Muse For All’s philosophy of making women feel good in what they wear. What does it mean to you when someone notices not what she’s wearing, but the energy she carries?

Yasemin: A woman’s energy is far more powerful than what she wears. Style is simply the language that translates it. What you wear becomes a way to express that inner balance — that strength and serenity. True elegance comes from within, and no one can take that away from you.

MFA: Do you think dressing can sometimes be a form of protection, and other times, a form of celebration?

Yasemin: Absolutely both. Sometimes dressing feels like armor, sometimes it’s an invitation. Some days you say, “I’m protecting myself,” and others, “I’m embracing the world.” Fashion, for me, is about finding balance between those two emotions.

MFA: How has your creative vision evolved since founding Muse For All?

Yasemin: At first, I was moving instinctively; now the vision is far more intentional. Over time, I realized that simplicity takes courage. I’ve come to believe in the strength of “less.” With every collection, the language of Muse For All becomes clearer — and more timeless.

MFA: You often describe MFA as a “language.” What do you mean by that?

Yasemin: Muse For All isn’t just a brand — it’s a form of expression. It’s a language that allows women to tell their stories through what they wear. Every seam, every form carries emotion. That’s why I call it not “fashion,” but “expression.”

MFA: What would you say is that signature detail — the one that feels most you in every collection?

Yasemin: Clear lines, but always with softness inside them. A strong shoulder, a graceful fall, the kind of quality you can feel to the touch. Every collection holds that same balance: strong, yet quiet.

MFA: What’s next for the brand?

Yasemin: We’re in the midst of an international expansion. Muse For All is becoming a language not only for women in Turkey, but for women around the world. We’ll reach more countries, more women — but the essence will remain the same: quiet luxury, strong women.
